Colon Cleanse | Will Eating Affect My Results?

It’s true that you should avoid eating food during my natural colon cleanse process for the best results. The colon cleanse itself is really all you need. But, if you feel like you absolutely have to eat, there are a few options!

What to Eat Whilst on a Natural Colon Cleanse

So, first of all, let’s go through the colon cleanse process itself. During your 4 Day Colon Cleanse, you should eat one to two tablespoons (depending on your weight) of the colon cleanse, mixed with some warm water or fresh apple juice, every 2 hours, 5 times a day. For example, 8am, 10am, Noon, 2pm & 4pm. You can drizzle on a dash of honey or maple syrup to add a bit of sweetness if you prefer. You can watch my youtube video to see me making it.

For the most effective results, it’s recommended you just take the colon cleanse mixture and have a lot of water. You need to be drinking at least 1L of water between serves, or 1L of apple juice as a backup.

If you really need to eat in between these two hours, and you’ve already had lots of water, then I recommend eating apples. With their pectin and fibers, apples are known to support the process of colon cleansing.

I know that some people don’t like apples, but I eat them in a different way that most people really love. I cut the apple into nice, thin slices and drizzle them with some lemon juice. Have them as a snack between servings of the colon cleanse. This will not only satiate you, but you’ll feel great.

If you really don’t like apples, I would recommend adding some other type of fresh fruit or even try adding some juices. But the point here is to only have foods that will support the colon cleanse process.

If you really need to eat, you may also have a light salad or even some soup in the evening. It’s not the ‘best’ way, but hey if that’s what it takes to get you through the four days, then I say do it!

Another Way To Do A Colon Cleanse

There’s also an easy “version” of the colon cleanse. It’s not as effective, but you can try it and maybe this way will work better for you to begin with. With this method, you have one serving of the colon cleanse mix a day (usually morning is best, like a breakfast replacement), and do this for 30 days.

During this period, you can have whatever healthy whole foods you like for the rest of the day. Of course, I’d recommend eating as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible as this is really going to help with the cleaning process.

If you think you can stick to the “go hard” version of the 4 Day Colon Cleanse, go for it! Just keep telling yourself it’s not forever, it’s just a few days and it will do some amazing things for your body. And remember, even if you can do only two or three days, you’ll still be giving your body an awesome cleanse and can try for a full 4 days another time!
